I agree with you that in texting and IM-ing it feels cold and you can't tell how the other person feels (It's very hard to tell when someone is being sarcastic too). So you should call her, you have her number since you're texting her. I think she likes you and you should ask her what day she isn't busy. Definitely ask her out.
