Do I need to replace my clutch?

I have a 1997 Ford Probe, manual, 4 cylinder. I can shift it into gear, but when I try to accelerate it will not go anywhere. It does not make any grinding noises it just doesn't move. Do I need to replace my clutch or could it be something else?
