Why are we not allowed to have proper discussions about facts/lies when it comes to the subject of 9/11/01?

We don't lose anything in fact we lose by refusing to acknowledge some inconsistencies in the accepted version. I've heard some very interesting theories about it, but to suggest that the USA had anything to do with it scares the hell out of people and they would rather attack the messenger. Sad.
