Siddhartha and The Stranger novel comparision?

In these two novels im comparing how Raymond form the stranger and Govinda from Siddhartha compare and help the main character achieve enlightenment, or find their one true selves. Could anyone help with thesis some examples? or at least tell me if this is even a good topic?
